Common-Used Prototype Finishing Treatment
After the work of the previous stage is completed, a series of surface treatment processes will be carried out in the later stage. Let me introduce to you the surface treatment processes of the prototype:
Manual Processing
Surface grinding and polishing of any material samples made by CNC, rapid prototyping or replication, and assembly. Then assemble all the parts into a new product with oil injection and other treatments.
Oil Injection
Spray the prototype samples we have made according to the customer's requirements, and then divide the color, matte color, rubber oil, transparent color, translucent color, transparent pearlescent color, transparent frosted color, fluorescent color, etc.
Rubber Oil
Spray a layer of transparent rubber oil on the surface of the sprayed product, so that the product has a comfortable feeling of rubber when you hold it by hand.
Silk Screen Printing
Print different color numbers, letters, patterns, logos, etc. on the plane of the product samples we have made as required.
Pad Printing
printing numbers, letters or patterns on the curved surface of the product. On the basis of silk screen printing, one more steel plate needs to be made.
Laser Engraving
According to your graphic numbers, letters, patterns, signs and other requirements, use laser to remove the paint on the surface of the product, so that some positions can be exposed to LED light in the dark to show the numbers, letters, patterns, and signs. We can clearly see the effect (such as: mobile phone buttons, car DVD buttons. Lenses and other commonly used home appliances).
Electroplating
In order to make the details of the product part more eye-catching, a layer of branded product color is applied, and the sample before electroplating must be very smooth. There must be no trace of impurities, and then soaked in chemical potions. There are gold, silver, bronze, etc., plastic parts can also be electroplated with metal effect and can be used for metal drawing effect, electroplating transparent light transmission effect (water plating and vacuum plating).
Oxidation (Anodic Treatment)
The surface of aluminum is oxidized to form a layer of film, which can be oxidized into a variety of colors according to customer requirements, so that the product is not easy to scratch.
Over UV
Spray a layer of transparent oil on the surface of the sample and bake it with UV light to make the product brighter and not easy to scratch.
High-light Effect
A circle is machined on the sample with high-speed CNC to reveal the true color of aluminum.
Sandblasting
There is a lot of residual plastic on the sample piece produced by the computer gong, which is very troublesome to handle manually. The main function is to clean the surface. The front sandblasting can increase the surface roughness, which is good for improving the adhesion. Sandblasting can be divided into coarse sand and fine sand. Commonly used are 120 mesh and 100 mesh.
Plastic Spraying
Also called electrostatic powder spraying, the advantages of this technology are reflected in advanced technology, energy saving and high efficiency, safety and reliability, bright color and so on. The working principle is that the plastic powder is charged through a high-voltage electrostatic device, and under the action of an electric field, the paint is sprayed onto the surface of the workpiece, and the powder will be uniformly adsorbed on the surface of the workpiece to form a powder coating.
